You may have heard that the Doobie Brothers invited several country artists to help them re-record some of their biggest hits for an upcoming album. Well, this is probably a preview of one of the songs that'll be on the album.
For the fifth time in their careers, Chicago and the Doobie Brothers will tour together. The two classic rock bands will be on the road playing mostly sheds and amphitheaters for 25 dates across the country between July 11 and August 26. Chicago are the headliners, but the show promises to have both bands on stage for the finale playing some of their biggest hits.
Lynyrd Skynyrd have signed on host and curate the 2012 Simple Man Cruise, a floating rock ‘n’ roll party set for Oct. 27-31 on Norwegian Cruise Line’s newest luxury liner, the Pearl. The cruise, which sets sail from Miami, will feature about a dozen different bands rocking the ship, including Skynyrd, the Doobie Brothers and up-and-coming Southern rockers like Blackberry Smoke and the Dirty Guv’nahs.
