Gregg Allman

It seems less and less likely with each passing day that the Gregg Allman biopic ‘Midnight Rider’ will ever see make it to movie theaters.

The Gregg Allman biopic 'Midnight Rider' has temporarily shut down production as police conduct an investigation to determine if criminal charges -- possibly including homicide -- will be brought against film personnel in the wake of an on-set accident that resulted in the death of a crew member.

Dan Toler, a southern rock guitar great who was part of the Allman Brothers Band family, has died near his hometown of Sarasota, Fla. He was 65.

A Gregg Allman fan was stabbed on Wednesday (Jan. 4) during a concert featuring the Allman Brothers Band singer that took place at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. As reported by Spinner, Ronald Sixt Jr. took a knife jab to the face and was treated for minor facial lacerations after a fight broke out during the show.
