Texas Man Tests Changes in Vehicle Air Quality After Passing Gas [VIDEO]
A guy in Texas got a new Mercedes with a sensor that tracks the air quality in the cabin. And he's been testing different things to see how much they affect it.
(By the way, I don't know WHERE this guy lives in the Lone Star state, but in another video of his, he says he's a Texan. That's all I could find about him.)
It started when his friend vaped in his car, and they saw the air quality get WAY worse for a few seconds. (Warning! There's profanity in the video.) But the best video is the one where he tests a FART.
He slid down in his seat to get right next to where the sensor was.
(Here's the video. He farts at 1:13)

This story sent me down a rabbit hole of 'fart trivia', so I though I'd share!
- On May 11, 1972, Paul Hunn farted for a staggering two minutes and 42 seconds setting a record. It was recorded at 118.1 decibels, which is like being front row at your favorite rock band's concert.
- On average, people pass gas between 14 and 23 times a day, including women. However, the amount can vary from person to person, with some people farting as little as a few times a day and others up to 40 times.
- Cows are often considered to be the animal that farts the most gas, producing about 220–440 pounds of methane per year, mostly through flatulence. Their digestive process creates a lot of gas because they swallow a lot of air to help microorganisms in their gut digest grass.
