Even Hollywood’s finest get caught up in the mystery of the unknown. Recently, renowned Texas-born actor Woody Harrelson, known for his laid-back style and genuine demeanor, stirred up conversation when he recounted an unusual experience on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

While chatting with Colbert, Harrelson casually mentioned that he had seen something strange up in the sky—something he couldn’t quite explain. Now, don’t get me wrong; he wasn’t launching into a full-blown alien invasion or abduction theory. Instead, he referred to it simply as a UFO sighting. He admitted that, while he isn’t one to jump on every conspiracy bandwagon, his own experience had him keeping an open mind about what’s really out there...

Social media immediately lit up! After all, here in Texas, we’re no strangers to stories about weird stuff in the skies. Take the Lubbock Lights, for example. Or all of these incidents in the Lone Star state:

What’s refreshing about Harrelson’s account is that he wasn’t trying to sell a book or promote a movie. Instead, he simply shared an anecdote—a moment that was part curiosity, part “what in tarnation was that?” And in doing so, he added fuel to the national debate on UFOs and government transparency on unexplained phenomena.

Here's more from the same interview:

For those of us in Lubbock, it’s a reminder that even amidst our everyday grind, there’s always room for a little mystery and a lot of humor. Woody Harrelson’s candid take on the unexplained is not only entertaining but also invites us to keep our eyes on the skies—because sometimes, the truth might just be stranger than fiction!
