TxDOT Reschedules Lane Closure for Marsha Sharp Freeway

The Texas Department of Transportation has rescheduled a lane closure that was supposed to begin Monday, Jan. 13.

TxDOT crews will be closing the right mainlane along eastbound Marsha Sharp Freeway on Thursday, Jan. 16,  instead of Monday.

Workers will be placing concrete barriers from Milwaukee Avenue to the Loop 289 exit so work can begin on a third auxiliary lane.

The work is part of a $10.3 million project to resurface a segment of the freeway, from Loop 289 in Lubbock to Loop 193 in Wolfforth.
