Unveiling Lubbock’s Tailgating Tradition: Game Day Fun At The Jones

I've said for years when people complain that there's 'nothing to do' in Lubbock that there's PLENTY to do and we happen to have a Division 1 school and a gigantic stadium to go along with it.

No matter how good or not so good the Red Raiders are each year, fans ALWAYS win in the parking lot as they host their own tailgate parties! (The Goin' Band wins every halftime as well)

I've attended every kind of tailgate you could possibly imagine at The Jones. From me and a buddy literally sitting on a tailgate with a little Weber grill cooking hotdogs, all the way up to the tailgates I was a part of that have actual sponsors, kegs of beer, full bars, catering, live music, and thousands of people that showed up!
