With E3 2021 coming to a close, it felt appropriate to keep the video game conversation going. Seeing all of the announcements for new games got me thinking -- what video game developers are based in Texas?
I was surprised by how many developers there actually are in the Lone Star State. Most of the studios are located in Austin, Texas, but some span off to places like Sugar Land and Garland. Many of these developers are not very well known, focusing more on indie games, while some have worked on some major projects. I even found studios that worked on AAA games including Call of Duty, Halo and Mario Kart.
