The deadline to register to vote in the Lubbock County Democrat and Republican joint primary runoff happening in July is less than a week away.

Monday, June 15th, is the deadline to register to vote in Lubbock County. If you are not sure if you are registered to vote, you can check online for your voter registration status by clicking here.

For now, it appears that Lubbock County will be conducting elections in person unless they qualify for mail-in ballot according to the Texas Secretary of State website:

Only specific reasons entitle a registered voter to vote early by mail (no longer called absentee voting). You may request a ballot by mail if you:

  1. will be away from your county on Election Day and during the hours that early voting is conducted;
  2. are sick or disabled;
  3. are 65 years of age or older on Election Day; or
  4. are confined in jail.
