It may end up being the music event of the year, as the '12-12-12' Hurricane Sandy benefit show will be getting underway in just a few hours. For those unable to catch it on TV but have their computers handy, the show will be streaming online and can be seen in the player below.

It's already been revealed today that Paul McCartney will be teaming up for a new song with the living members of Nirvana backing him up. Roger Waters also confirmed that at least part of his set will feature Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder. The evening will also feature such major names as the Rolling Stones, the Who, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Eric Clapton, Bon Jovi, Coldplay's Chris Martin, Alicia Keys and Kanye West.

All proceeds from the show will go directly to the Robin Hood Relief Fund to aid the victims of Hurricane Sandy's destruction. The devastating natural disaster wreaked havoc along the East Coast, hitting New York and New Jersey particularly hard.

The '12-12-12' benefit will air on a number of television networks both in North America and internationally. For a full rundown of where you can see the show, click here. The event will also stream online beginning at 7:30PM ET / 4:30 PM PT and can be viewed in the player below.
