What Now Closed Lubbock Business Would You Bring Back?
Lubbock has had so many business over the years come to the Hub City, become popular with everyone in town, stay successful for years, then just seem to disappear seemingly overnight never to be heard from again.
I'm looking at YOU Bob York's Western Sizzlin' at 83rd & Indiana! My family had a major connection with that particular establishment because my late father was Bob York's advertising guy. My dad was the voice you heard when you opened the door and the cow would say, "MOOOOOO!" He also did the semi-famous TV commercials that featured the little skinny cow. I was basically a celebrity in elementary school because my dad played a cow on TV. Times were different then, kids.
Anyway, those cheese rolls were to DIE for and I've never had anything like them since. The salad bar, the nice waitresses coming to keep your sweet tea filled, the great steaks, and their 'nanner puddin' wasn't anything to shake a stick at either! It was soooo good to me as a kid! Then one day it was just...gone.
That's my choice, but what about the listeners. We asked the following question on the Facebook page, "If you could bring back one restaurant or biz that closed in Lubbock, what would it be?"
Here's what everyone said...

How do YOU participate in the daily Facebook question?
It's simple! Just go like our Facebook page right here, check it daily and answer the question. Usually, we ask about current events (ZERO political questions), food, pets, holidays and things along those lines. Basically, we just want to get to know our listeners better and we want to know your opinions on certain things.
Plus, it's FUN!
