Honestly, I just might be the queen of U-turns. I can't help it. I always seem to be going in the wrong direction or passing a business I meant to turn into, especially when I'm on a road trip. If there isn't a sign against making a U-turn, chances are, I'm going to do it. I'm not proud of it, but hey, busting a b*tch definitely saves time when you're in a pinch.

Did you know that U-turns are entirely illegal in Richardson, Texas? It doesn't matter the reason, the situation, or whether or not the road is marked with a sign. U-turns are strictly forbidden there. This comes as a total surprise to me. I've driven through Richardson many times in my life. I've probably even been lost there. If I ever made a U-turn, it must have been in the right place and at the right time so as not to be detected by the law. I was lucky.
