Why Did Texas Land and Cattle Close Without a Word After 25 Years in Lubbock?
Texas Land and Cattle Steakhouse, a long-standing fixture on the corner of Indiana and Loop 289, is just gone. One minute they're there, and all at once the tall display sign is blank. A simple note on the door says they are permanently closed and they would like to thank customers for their support over the last 25 years.
We wanted to know why and have reached out to Texas Land and Cattle's corporate office for a statement. So far, we haven't received a response.
If you want to find a Texas Land and Cattle Steakhouse, the next closest location to Lubbock is a five-hour drive either east to Arlington, Texas or West to Albuquerque, New Mexico.
It's unfortunate to lose this longstanding steakhouse. They will be missed.
