While calling a myriad of Lubbock stores to check on Black Friday hours, I found that close to 80% of local stores will be opening Thanksgiving Day!

Many of the retailers I spoke with are not happy about having to take time away from their families to work so we, who don't work retail, can get a jump on Black Friday deals.
