One of the things I love about the people of Lubbock is how passionate they are.

We will stand with businesses we love till the end and show incredible support for whatever we enjoy. That is why I always find it fun when so many of us agree on a certain business we want to see here.

Whether we experienced it in another city, it used to be in Lubbock and closed at some point, or we simply like the idea of a certain brand, we will fight till we see it open in the Hub city.

There are common businesses you’ll hear everyone say they want, but I wanted to see exactly what the people of Lubbock feel like they are missing out on. So, I took to Facebook to survey the public and got a slew of responses, and several businesses proved to be the most popular options.

What do they want?

There was a good mix of restaurants, grocery stores, and other shops, but food took the lead. What can I say? Lubbock loves some good grub and there is nothing wrong with that.
