Here's my list of a few things going on tonight that you might enjoy...

I have a BIG treat for you today. It's a list of 'The Best Party Jams of the '80s' and it's even MORE awesome than it sounds, because it was created by Nick Feldman from Wang Chung, the group that brought us "Everybody Have Fun Tonight"!

Ahh, summer. 'Tis the season of watermelon art, diving fails and-- you guessed it-- belly flops. When we were kids, this pool move was awesome. But nowadays... who are we kidding? It's still (painfully) awesome!

You're not from just any starship  -- you're from the Enterprise-D, class Galaxy, baby. Back when people still got stuck in turbolifts and even a kid could solve a major engineering crisis. The great thing about art is that we can express ourselves in endless ways. Feeling inspired by Grumpy Cat? Paint a detailed portrait of Tardar Sauce-- we won't judge. Or maybe 'Star Wars' gets you all jazzed. Heck, make a Lego scene to reflect those feelings! It's all fun in our books, and we're especially fans of the offbeat type of art, like that of the banana variety.

Maybe the video's blatant objectification of women is a bit too much for you. Maybe you like watching old people dance. Maybe you just want an excuse to listen to Robin Thicke's summer jam 'Blurred Lines' eight times in a row. Whatever your reason is, we're pretty sure you're going to enjoy watching these videos of old people (and babies!) dancing to 'Blurred Lines.'

Your hair is coiffed. Your breath is a minty collection of Crest, Scope and Ice Breakers gum. Your scent is a dazzling aroma that says “seduction.”

Growing up as an American teenager meant Doritos in your diet. The flavored and fried tortilla chips went with everything: video games, sandlot baseball, road trips and going to the beach. (Fruit wasn't invented for another decade or so.)

The restaurant biz is super competitive, which is why standing out from every other place is a key compenent to success. Of course a good restaurant should have great food, but first impressions (aka the kind that happen before you even walk into an establishment) are often overlooked. This is where creative signs come into play.

Optical illusions can play some really weird tricks on our brains. We think we're looking at one thing and then... sike! It's something else. Honestly, what the heck. But you know the best type of illusions? The photograph kind, because they can be all sorts of awesome, strange and funny...

We're all entitled to our own opinions, but food is arguably the best part of any holiday. See, eating our way through this sort of celebration is an automatic win-win-- we're happy, our stomach's are happy, everyone's happy.
