Creedence Clearwater Revival “Cottonfields”

Several years ago I got a request during 'Open Line Friday' for "Cottonfields" by CCR. As always, I obliged. We live in the cotton capitol of the world, plus it's a GREAT song!

If I've learned anything in my many years of doing radio it's that for every thousand listeners you make happy with a song, there's going to be one person who HATES what you're playing. That was the case with this particular song. A guy called me after it was already done playing and told me to "NEVER PLAY THAT HICK (S-WORD) AGAIN!!!!"
