Home Depot is giving customers a scare that's even too much for Halloween.

The chain has announced it will stop selling the Scary Peeper Creeper in stores after a woman in Canada complained. The CBC reports she "complained it makes light of predatory behaviour against women."

The decoration, which is still for sale on its website, runs about $29 and mounts to a window, so it looks like a hooded peeping tom, with its hands cupped around its face, is looking inside in the hopes it frightens people who unexpectedly see it.

According to the Washington Post, the creeper will be pulled from shelves in Canada, but remain for sale online and in the U.S.

Breanne Hunt-Wells is the woman who complained. "I fail to see the humor in it," she said. "It makes light of a very serious crime. Voyeurism is a crime in Canada."

Home Depot reacted swiftly. A spokeswoman said, "We agree that this is not in line with our core values, and when we heard, took immediate action and are currently in the process of removing this product from our assortment."
