O.J. Simpson Was Granted Parole…In Part Because He Had No Prior Convictions
Remember O.J. Simpson's parole hearing last week? Well, it was a GREAT SUCCESS. O.J. was granted parole on some of the charges related to that little "armed robbery" incident from a few years back.
Since he had other charges set to run consecutively, he still doesn't get out just yet. He has to spend AT LEAST another four years behind bars before there's even a hope he breathes free air.
But this is kind of funny: The parole board said it was siding with O.J. because of his, quote, "positive institutional conduct, participation in programs and LACK OF PRIOR CONVICTION HISTORY."
Okay, so maybe the Brown and Goldman families aren't laughing...but you can't tell me that didn't pull an involuntary chuckle from the back of your throat.
