One Texas town has decided Ted Nugent isn't the right act for its Fourth of July concert this year -- even if it means paying him a hefty fee not to play.

Rocker Ted Nugent was asked recently what he thought of musicians like Stevie Wonder boycotting the state of Florida until they repeal the "Stand Your Ground" law that became the centerpiece of the George Zimmerman / Trayvon Martin case this summer. "How brain-dead do you have to be," Nugent asked, before taking Wonder to task for his decision.

On Thursday (July 18), the city of Detroit filed for Chapter 9 bankruptcy protection, with more than $18 billion in debt. One of its most famous native sons, rocker Ted Nugent, has taken aim at those whom he feels is responsible for the city's long-standing financial woes.
