You Can Give The Gift of Warmth This Holiday Season

If you’re like me, you probably have an extra coat or two that you don’t use anymore. And, if you have kids you probably have more than that.

I usually put my gently used coats and clothing in a bag and when it fills up, go drop it off at the Goodwill truck down the street from my house.

But when I saw this event, I thought, why not give the gift of warmth to some of those less fortunate in our community as the winter season turns cold..

Kingsgate Center, located at 8201 Quaker Avenue, is hosting a coat drive now through December 24^th, 2018. There are bins set up outside of Burger Fi, Chipotle, Marble Slab, Malouf’s, Cake, and several other stores located at Kingsgate Center.

All gently used coats that are donated will be given to Lubbock Impact and distributed to the Lubbock community during the winter season.

What a great way to share love and warmth this holiday season!
