3 More States Say Yes to Marijuana on Election Night
Races between Republicans and Democrats weren't the only contests being closely watched across the country last night, the issue of legal Marijuana was on the ballot in three states.
KXXV reports Michigan voters said yes to allowing residents over the age of 21 to smoke marijuana which changes the state's violations from crimes to infractions.
Over in Missouri, the state had multiple marijuana issues on the ballot. Voters passed Amendment 2 which now allows doctors to prescribe medical cannabis to their patients.
Finally, voters in Utah gave a thumbs up to medical marijuana in their state as well.
