3rd Annual Miracles From Myles Toy Drive Is Happening Now
I love it when members of the community reach out to others in not so good circumstances. But what I love about this story is that it is 15 year old who started it.
I'm going to let Myles tell you about this event:
My name is Myles and I am a 15-year-old boy who has been battling cancer since I was 7. I am currently a patient at UMC Cancer center and in remission. Two years ago along with Juan Gandara at Lubbock Custom Motorcycles, we began a toy drive for patients like me who spend the holidays in the hospital. This year I want my 3rd annual toy drive to be bigger and better than last year.
This year the toy drive continues Saturday, December 16, 2017, from noon to 3 p.m. at Lubbock Custom Motorcycles, located at 2833 Clovis Road.
And there are some great local businesses that are letting you drop off donations:
- Lubbock Custom Motorcycles
- Gene Messer Hyundai
- Ollies Pit Stop -Shallowater
- Dr. Greg Johnson D.D.S
- All Shallowater school campuses
So, let's get out there and help Myles make this the biggest toy drive yet!
