The largest free festival in Texas is still the 4th On Broadway parade and celebration in Mackenzie Park. Every year the biggest concern parade watchers have is where to park and how to get to the event. We have the maps for you.

There will be free parking between Broadway and 19th street along Canyon Lake Drive, which is a walkable distance for most people. There is also $5 parking in the fair grounds. And the free shuttle will run a route through the fair grounds parking lots, down Broadway to the festival entrance, up MLK, west on 4th street back to the fair grounds and around again.

Now looking at the info on the map it looks like the free shuttle is only available if you park in the $5 parking at the fair grounds, because there are only 2 marked stops on the map. Those stops are in the $5 parking lots, and at the entrance to the festival. I wouldn't expect to be able to park along MLK and hop the shuttle. You might want to call Broadway Festivals Inc in advance to make sure.
