A big League Baseball Player Makes his Return to Lubbock
A big league baseball player, who played for Texas Tech, will be returning to the Hub City. Third baseman for the Texas Rangers, Josh Jung, will be at Knocksville Baseball and Softball Training Facility for a meet and greet. This meet and greet event will start at 5 p.m., December 9th, with a VIP session for members of the Knocksville facility. Facility members will be able to go head-to-head with Jung to see if they can hit a homerun.
The event will then be open to the public starting at 5:30 p.m. and everyone will be able to shake hands and take a picture with Jung, no autographs will be allowed at this event. There will be facility tours, games, refreshments and even a prize raffle featuring a Josh Jung jersey that anyone has the chance to win. Near the end of the event three lucky contestants will be selected to compete in a 5-swing homerun derby against Josh with the grand prize being, bragging rights over who has the biggest bat in Lubbock.
