A lot of things have came to a sudden halt since the COVID-19 pandemic, but Kalahari Resorts and conventions are putting the finishing touches on a new waterpark here in Texas.

According to a press release from Kalahari Media, America's largest indoor waterpark is set to open in Round Rock, Texas on November 12. If you're not from Texas, you may be thinking, "whoa, weird...November?" I can assure you though, it will be just as hot as any other day in Texas despite the opening day being in the "Fall."

“We’re delighted to have Kalahari break ground in Round Rock, Texas,” Mayor Craig Morgan said in the press release. “This will be an amazing destination for our citizens, as well as families and convention guests from across the state and across the country. We’re proud of the partnership we’ve forged with Kalahari and can’t wait for the grand opening.”

The Kalahari Resort in Round Rock will boast over 350 acres and will also feature almost 1,000 guest rooms. In addition there will be 5 restaurants, a spa and salon, and multiple outdoor pools that will span over 3 acres!

The thing that really grabs my attention is the adventure park at the resort. Tom Foolery's Adventure Park will offer climbing walls, zip-lining, a ropes course, mini-golf, laser tag, and of course some classic amusement park rides.

Will you and your family be checking out the new resort and waterpark?
