Ann Coulter To Speak At Texas Tech
Ann Coulter, conservative political commentator and author, is bringing her campus tour to Texas Tech on Monday, November 15. No matter where Coulter goes, a crowd is sure to follow. And that crowd will probably contain supporters, detractors, and those who just want to see what Coulter is all about.
Coulter will be speaking from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Student Union Building in the Red Raider Ballroom B on the Texas Tech campus. The speech is free to attend, but organizers ask that you do register for the speech to hear Ann Coulter. You can do that here.
The Young Conservatives of Texas at Texas Tech are hosting the event and hoping for a large turnout, which is entirely possibly when Ann Coulter shows up.
Coulter has long made headlines with her columns, books, and speeches. She was one of, if not the first, high profile commentators to come out in support of Donald Trump when he first announced his campaign for President. Coulter was a huge supporter of the wall and stopping illegal immigration.
Recently, Coulter has made headlines for her displeasure of former President Donald Trump. According to Insider, Ann Coulter recently called the former President "abjectly stupid" and said that he betrayed his voters.
In a conversation about the former president on November 6, Coulter and Sullivan took turns bashing Trump — claiming he failed to deliver on campaign promises made to his right-wing base.
"I had no idea how abjectly stupid the man is," Coulter said. "I didn't think he was a genius, but I didn't think he was that stupid."
She characterized voters in his base as "these poor, left-behind Americans who were waiting their whole lives for someone to care about them. And he says he cares about them and he not only betrays them, but he lies to them."
Coulter's speech at Texas Tech should be interesting that is for sure.
