Armed Robbers Invade Lubbock Man’s Home and Steal Car
A Lubbock man says he was the victim of an armed robbery the night of Tuesday, February 23rd.
Lubbock Police responded to the 1500 block of 41st Street after they received reports of the robbery.
KAMC News reports that the victim, whose identity has not been revealed, was asleep when he heard his front door being kicked in. When he went into the living room to see what the noise was, one of the suspects pointed a shotgun at him. While this was happening, the other suspect was collecting many of the victim's belongings.
The police report says that while the suspects were grabbing what they could, one of them asked the victim of the location of a phone belonging to someone else in the house. The victim said that he didn't know where that phone was.
Whether or not the suspect's asked for the other person's phone because they knew the victim's wasn't made clear.
After the victim responded, it's said that the two suspects left the house and even stole the victim's car. A description of the stolen car wasn't given, nor was an update on whether or not it along with any of the other stolen items had been recovered.
No injuries were reported, and as of the writing of this article, there were no descriptions of possible suspects.
As of the afternoon of Thursday, February 25th, no arrests had been made in the case.
