Arrest Made in Connection to Shoe Store Robbery

Lubbock Police have made an arrest in connection to the aggravated robbery that happened back on Wednesday, May 13th.
Just before 4:30 p.m., a suspect entered the SAS Shoe Store at 3602 Slide Road through the front entrance. They walked towards an employee behind the counter, displayed a knife and demanded money from the register.
After the employee complied, the suspect took the money and fled the store.
Police believe that 25-year-old Yanni Almager was the one responsible for the robbery.
Almager's arrest was made possible through information received through crime line.
