Buddy Holly Center Announces 2021 Summer Showcase Concert Series
We are barely into Spring but we all know Summer is right around the corner. And that means a few things. Hot temperatures, electric bills going up, and free live music at the Buddy Holly Center.
The Summer Showcase Concert Series returns this year for the 21st season and the concerts on Thursday nights are free to the public. In addition to the live music, guests can visit Buddy Holly exhibitions and the Fine Arts Gallery during the Summer Showcase hours with free admission.
The performances are each Thursday evening from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Meadows Courtyard. No outside beverages or chairs/picnic blankets will be allowed.

August 5th: Darren Welch Group
August 12th: The Selfless Lovers
August 19th: Mike Pritchard Tribute Concert
According to the press release, the Buddy Holly Center is a City of Lubbock facility which means they will adhere to policies outlined by the City of Lubbock when it comes to COVID-19. That means occupancy may be limited at times due to the pandemic. So get to the Buddy Holly Center early as it could be a first come, first serve type of event.
