Here's something that the whole family can enjoy this weekend.

November's First Friday Art Trail is coming up on Friday and one exhibit and feature at the Buddy Holly Center will be one you won't want to miss. This Friday, the Buddy Holly Center will feature an exhibit called, Celebración.

According to a press release from the Buddy Holly Center, Celebración, is an annual exhibit that explores the Mexican holiday, Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, through artwork.

The Buddy Holly Center’s featured exhibition is Celebración, its annual exhibition of artwork exploring interpretations of the Mexican holiday Día de los Muertos or Day of the Dead.  This year’s installation features a retrospective of works from artists who have a long association with this particular exhibition, some dating as far back as 1996.  Along with their works, artists have included a statement describing their ongoing commitment to honoring this holiday.  The exhibit will coincide with the city-wide event, Procesión, on Friday, November 4, 2022.

First Friday Art Trail is a great event for the entire family and it's held on the first Friday of the month. First Friday Art Trail and the exhibit will be open 6-9 p.m. on Friday. The Buddy Holly Center is located ay 1801 Crickets Avenue.
