Check Out Lubbock on TV and In the Movies (Part 3)
A YouTube account named twobytwo2 has been putting together compilations of Lubbock appearing in the movies and on television.
This is an entertaining reel of Lubbock mentions on popular TV shows, including King of the Hill, Real Time With Bill Maher, and Modern Family.
My favorite is a young Joe Mantegna (Criminal Minds) portraying a cop, asking a young lady where's she's from. With that answer, we get an "area twoer," because she mentions she's from Snyder. I learned some geography, too. I always thought of Snyder as being east of Lubbock, but it's very much south and only a bit east, comparatively.
Our thanks to twobytwo2 for putting this together. It's always fun to hear Lubbock on TV.
