Some early test footage from the animated classic "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" hit the web over the weekend.  And the voice of Roger is done by Paul Reubens, a.k.a. Pee Wee Herman.

The footage is from 1983, before director Robert Zemeckis was even on board.

Actor (slash) comedian Charles Fleischer ended up doing Roger's voice in the finished film, which came out in 1988.
