Chris Beard Gets in the Holiday Spirit with Family Photo

The Texas Tech basketball team wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas so they sent out Chris Beard's family photo to let the Red Raider faithful know how they felt.

The photo is great. It's got all the hallmarks of a great family Christmas photo, the Family, matching pajamas, Ted. It's really got it all.

Upon second reflection, though, Chris Beard has been photo shopped into his own family photo! Beard's daughter Ella set the record straight on twitter:

A coach’s job never stops, I guess.

If I was a conspiracy theorist, which I'm not, I might suggest that the family only had four onesies so they had to take the photo then swap out so Coach could be matching. Another possibility is that Beard had to take the original photo, thus needing to be added in post production.

Whatever the real reason, I'm glad Coach Beard had a great break.
