Brenda Garcia, United Supermarkets' corporate dietician, knows that packing or planning a lunch can be the last thing on anyone's to-do list, so her team has put together some fast and convenient lunch ideas that are still nutritious.

These ideas are great for adults and kids and can be adapted to snack on the go if you're busy by the pool or at the park. In general, Garcia advises always trying to remember to have a fruit and a vegetable, as well as something crunchy. Here's a look at their ideas:

Lunch Idea #1: Grapes, carrot sticks, a cheese stick, turkey slices, and a good and grainy roll.

Garcia's tip: For a roll that's low in carbs but still offers fiber, look for the Unbun rolls in the freezer section.

Lunch Idea #2: Applesauce pouch, snap peas, Horizon shelf-stable milk, hard-boiled egg, and crackers.

Garcia's tips: You can buy eggs already boiled and peeled for your convenience at United Supermarkets. She also recommends Simple Mills almond flour crackers.

Lunch Idea #3: Clementines, small cucumber, Whisps Cheese Crips, Chomps jerky stick, and pretzels, and a hummus cup.

Don't forget to hydrate with water or sparkling water, too.
