Green foods have so many nutrition benefits, but unless you want to eat a can of spinach like Popeye, you're probably looking for ways to incorporate it into your regular meal planning.

United Supermarkets' Corporate Dietician Brenda Garcia and her team have tons of tasty ideas:

1) Ditch the side salad. Cooking green veggies often makes the nutrients more available to your body, so when you make spaghetti, go ahead and saute some spinach for the tomato sauce.

2) Pair greens with full flavors. For example, Garcia suggested pairing feta cheese with spinach for a healthy, salty touch. If you want to dress it up even more, try this spanakopita (Greek spinach pie) recipe.

3) Make a green sauce to top your fish. This Italian verde recipe on Happy + Nourished, a blog maintained by Garcia's team, presents bold flavors in the perfect sauce for Waterfront BISTRO® and Open Nature® brands seafood, which meets United Supermarkets' responsible seafood policy.

4) Challenge yourself to pack an all-green lunch. Garcia's team presents three health lunch ideas (all green!) here.
