First Jury Duty Scams, Now a Lubbock Municipal Court Scam [SCAM ALERT]

Two scams in Lubbock in a week? Is this how we roll now?

First, it was fake deputies calling about jury duty. Now it's fake calls about Municipal Court warrants.

From The City of Lubbock Police Department:

The City of Lubbock Municipal Court has received reports of a person(s) calling residents claiming to be a representative of the court. The caller claims the resident has a warrant from the court, and that payment can be taken over the phone.

Like I've said before, no one is going to call you about a warrant; they are just going to show up at your doorstep.
