Texas Tech University released a Title IX report that accuses a former professor of sexual misconduct.

KAMC News reports that between August 2012 and March 2018, Duane Hill, former Associate Director of Bands and Director of Athletic Bands for Texas Tech, allegedly used social media to send explicit photos and videos to male students.

The report describes several occasions where Hill requested photos or videos from students and other circumstances with students that were sexual in nature. On one occasion, a student did send Hill a nude photo, which the professor then said what he wanted to do while looking at it. The report also said that students believed complying with Hill would lead to better grades, though no evidence was brought forth to prove that was the case.

During the investigation, Hill did confirm he made certain comments to students and sent them pornographic images of himself, according to KAMC News.

"I'm sorry I put the students in a very poor position," Hill reportedly said at the end of an interview with investigators. "I betrayed their trust. I truly love Texas Tech and the Goin' Band."

The report found that Hill violated Texas Tech’s procedure regarding sexual harassment.
