‘Fuller House’ Is Nearly Unlocked: See Photos From the Premiere’s Red Carpet
Fuller House has officially proven family night doesn't have to amount to tired board games and flavorless frozen pizza.
Last night (February 16), the show's stars and their loved ones hit the red carpet at The Grove's Pacific Theater in Los Angeles in anticipation of Fuller House's February 26 Netflix release. And between group photo sessions and candid shots, Andrea Barber, who plays Kimmy Gibbler, told The Hollywood Reporter that viewers can expect some of the same magic Full House offered 20 years ago.
"It feels like we've never left. We picked right up where we left off," she said. "It's like being together again with your brothers and sisters at your childhood home."
On the other hand, there's a freshness to the series that keeps up with the 21st century, Dave Coulier, who plays Joey, noted.
"You have to update technology certainly. We all have our phones now, " he explained. "It's kind of like Full House 2.0, so we update it for today, but I think fans are still going to love the fact that we still have all those traditional family values. I think it will be video comfort food for a lot of people."
