The cast of Scream Queens has officially gotten a little Fuller, because Uncle Jesse himself, John Stamos, is joining the show!

On Thursday (June 16), Fox announced that the Fuller House star has signed on to appear as a key cast member in the second season of the hit comedy-slasher series. The actor will join returning cast members Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer, Billie Lourd, Glen Powell and Niecy Nash, who are reportedly all set to reprise their original roles from the first season.

As initially reported back in January, Scream Queens Season 2 will take place in a hospital — perhaps the Palmer Asylum for the Insane where the Chanels all ended up? — and Stamos will play Dr. Brock Holt, the hospital's "brilliant, but secretive" head surgeon. The actor — who worked with SQ creator Ryan Murphy on his shows Glee and The New Normal — has actually portrayed a doctor on TV before, playing Dr. Tony Gates on E.R. in the mid-2000s.

Previously, Stamos played the titular grandfather (have mercy!) Jimmy Martino on Fox's comedy Grandfathered, which was cancelled by the network in May after only one season on the air. He will reprise his role as Jesse Katsopolis in Season 2 of Netflix's Full House revival, Fuller House.

Scream Queens Season 2 is set to premiere on Tuesday, September 20.
