Is This the Wildest Christmas Light Tour in Lubbock County?
Christmas is here and the lights have been hung and now it is time to enjoy. Here in Lubbock they have a unique opportunity that most cities do not. It's from an angel you probably have never seen Christmas lights before, from a helicopter in the sky.
You get to see all the Christmas lights at Ransom Canyon from and R44 Helicopter and it is going on right now. They only have ten more dates through December 23rd. There can be up to three passengers per flight and they are ready to serve you. They say accommodations can be made for large parties and all reservations are required.
I mean just look at this view from where they start, this would be great for families or a special date night. Lubbock is so flat you can see for miles so this is the perfect place to do it for sure. While this picture looks so amazing, I couldn't even imagine what it looks like in real life. I mean look at all those lights and that sunset.
The flights are based at the Slaton Municipal Airport located at 12106 FM 400 Slaton, Texas 79364. You can buy tickets online and are for sale per seat on the helicopter. Each ticket is $60 but lap children ages 2 and under are free and no need to buy a ticket. The flight lasts around 10-12 minutes. For more information or details you can also call them at 806-782-3484.
Make sure you buy tickets before they sell out because they are already running out of dates. Enjoy the ride!
