According to a Facebook post by Everything Wolfforth, customers that use the minimum amount of water, 3000 gallons, can expect an increase of $17.62 monthly. If you average 8000 gallons each month, the price of your water bill will increase by $41.07 per month.

If you use even more water than that, you can calculate the cost with the chart below:

It's not too terrible for a single person, but the numbers could really add up if you've got a small business that uses a lot of water. It might be a good time to remind your employees to conserve when they can.

Accidentally leaving a water hose on at your house could really cost you! I know I've done it my fair share of times, so make sure you stay on your toes to keep the cost of your water as low as possible.

I think the worst part about the increase, is that ALL of the water around here tastes terrible! Haha. I don't care if you're in Wollforth or Lubbock, or any of the tiny towns in this area. It's all bad. Spending money on water that tastes terrible always makes me sort of angry. What about you?

Here's hoping the new increase doesn't put you out!
