I, like many of you, grew up and "came of age" here in Lubbock. Because of that, i find myself nostalgic for the "old" Lubbock. Strangely, I miss walking between rows of cotton to buy myself a treat at United. I realize that makes me sound 100 years old, but it was like that as recently as the 90s (at least near the 82nd & Boston United).
We all seem to miss the flavors of our youth, whether we were little kids, in college, or the meals we had when the kids were little.
