Sadly, Another Lubbock Pizza Place Decides To Close Forever
Lubbock just can't seem to keep very many pizza places open.
Westside Pizza is soon joining the ranks of permanently closed pizza joints (6616 Milwaukee Avenue). The business made the unfortunate announcement on their Facebook page:
Westside Pizza joins other fallen pizza joints like both locations of 1000 Degrees Pizza and Urban Bricks.
Westside Pizza did not give a reason for the closure, but we all know what an extremely difficult few years it has been for locally owned, small businesses.
Rising costs, difficulty finding employees, and folks limiting their food budgets have all combined to spell disaster for many local eateries.

If you never tried Westside Pizza, I recommend you do this week. Their pizza is made with fresh, never frozen ingredients and this location is owned by the nicest folks.
The pizza is delicious, and the Raspberry Blasters are my favorite pizza-place dessert ever. Do yourself a favor and try it, while you still can.
