Lubbock Last-Minute Plans: Ice Skating, Christmas Parties, & More
Christmas is finally here in the Hub City, and many people are looking for fun things to do outside of the house this weekend. From last-minute shopping to family fun, there is a little something for everyone.
Ice Skating
If you are looking for something fun to do with the family this weekend, Adventure Park’s Ice Skating is a great option. Open December 22nd, 23rd, and 24th, you can rein in the holiday celebrations with an afternoon/evening on the ice. Each day the rink will be available from noon to 7:00 p.m.
Frost Bite Night
The Weird Space is hosting an adult-only pajama party on Friday, December 22nd from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. They will have a naughty book exchange, games, and a class on making fun holiday cocktails (21+).
Ugly Sweater Party
Little Woodrow’s is celebrating the holidays with an Ugly Sweater Party on Saturday, the 23rd starting at 8:00 p.m. There will be Christmas lights, a sweater contest, and more at this festive party.
Nashwell Christmas Party
If you want to enjoy a delicious dinner, Christmas carols, mulled wine, cookies, hot chocolate, and even pick up a Christmas gift, this is a great event for you. It is on Saturday, the 23rd, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Nashwell Café.
Last Shop Pop-Up
If you are a last-minute shopper and need to snag some gifts before Christmas arrives, there will be a great opportunity at Jeno’s Gym from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. this Saturday, December 23rd. They will have a variety of local vendors, a photo booth, refreshments, and more, including the Grinch showing up from noon to 1:30 p.m.
