New Lubbock LEGO Toy Store Moves Grand Opening Date
Get ready to get creative and build things, Lubbock is getting a Bricks & Minifigs.
Bricks & Minifigs is your one-stop aftermarket LEGO toy shop. They are the largest toy store of its kind, specializing in only new and used LEGO items.
It all started when Cristina Escobedo bought two LEGO sets for her son. She helped him build them and had so much fun with it and got hooked. She started looking around and found we didn't have anything here in Lubbock. That's when she found Bricks & Minifigs and wanted to bring it to Lubbock.
"I was it was a franchise and filled out the form that day. That all started in January and here it is October and I am opening a LEGO store. It is going to be so much fun. Lubbock needs something like this," said Escobedo.
Now Escobedo and Maybin Simfukwe coming together to open the store in December.
They buy and trade all LEGO products, from bulk tubs to storage unit-sized collections. If it’s the LEGO brand, they will take it.
You can come into the store to buy a new Lego set, browse tons of retired set, or look through our bulk bins for the perfect piece(s) to complete your MOC build.
They are also approved for Texas Tech licensing meaning they will have an exclusive Red Raider minifigure. How cute!!! If done in time they will be giving the first 100 people free ones on their grand opening.
Bricks and Minifigs will be having a grand opening event on December 9th from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at 8004 Indiana Avenue Ste. B-12. They will have face painters, food trucks, lots of giveaways, and more.
Their normal hours will be 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday's 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. You can find out more about the new store on their Facebook page.
