The City of Lubbock's 67th Annual Santa Land kicks off this weekend. This is one of the biggest Christmas events in Lubbock, Texas.

Santa Land Details:

Santa Land is scheduled to open on December 9th and will run through Thursday, December 21st. The community can enjoy the festive holiday village with a 50-foot Christmas Tree, animated displays, and Santa’s Workshop.

Approximately 50,000 people visit Santa Land each year to see the festive holiday village with its huge lit Christmas tree, animated displays, bonfires, traditional holiday scenes, and of course, Santa and Mrs. Claus.

How Much is Admission to Santa Land?

FREE! This special yearly event is free admission for all!

Santa Land is open to the public and free admission for all ages. It is located at  600 Cesar E. Chavez Dr, Lubbock, TX 79401. Here is a map of the area.

Each evening it starts at 6 p.m. and has a sleigh with tiny reindeer bring Santa and Mrs. Claus to Santa Land to hear the Christmas wishes of area children. You can enjoy all the festivities until 10 p.m.

Families will enjoy live entertainment most evenings from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Hot chocolate and other refreshments are available for sale at the concession stand. Parents are welcome to bring cameras to take photos of their children with Santa at no charge.

New To Santa Land:

As you are roaming around Santa Land keep an eye out for the Elf on the Shelf. It will be hiding in a different spot every night and if you follow the rules below you could win some great prizes. Winners will be selected by a random drawing and announced on December 29th at Lubbock Park and Recreations socials.
