
Individual Drives Off Cliff at Palo Duro Canyon
There have been reports on Monday that the Randall County Sheriff's Department responded to an emergency call after a driver drove their vehicle off a cliff at Palo Duro Canyon.
According to NewsChannel10.com, the car drove off the main road and "came to a rest" near the bottom of the canyon. The driver was apparently driving out of the canyon on Sunday night when they had a tire blow out.
Driver Found Safe in Palo Duro Canyon
According to the report, the driver became unconscious during the wreck and woke up at the bottom of the canyon. Fortunately, he was able to exit the vehicle and walk to a nearby pavilion. He was later taken to the hospital.

According to reports, the investigation into the crash continues.
Palo Duro Canyon is located in the Texas Panhandle and is the second largest canyon in the United States. The largest canyon of course is the Grand Canyon. For those in Lubbock, Palo Duro Canyon is about an hour and a half north of Lubbock.
