Lubbock is known for a lot of things including the amount of places to eat. It seems almost impossible for people to try everything that is offered in Lubbock. But even with all the great places to eat in town, there are still those restaurants from the past that tug on the heartstrings, or make your stomach rumble whenever you think about them.

Recently, we asked our listeners on social media a simple question. "If you could bring back one restaurant that closed in Lubbock, what would it be"? And we had a ton of responses. It seems everyone has that one or two places that closed years ago that you just love.

Most of the listeners mentioned local restaurants that have since closed while some mentioned national places that have closed for good around the country.

One of the restaurants that was mentioned over and over again? Furr's. And for good reason. So many people here in Lubbock grew up going to Furr's and even getting their holiday pies from Furr's. And the food was really good. Yeah, I miss Furr's too.

Check out which restaurants our listeners would bring back below.
