On Wednesday, July 29th, retail store giant Kohl's announced that all of its stores will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving this year.
In a move that follows Walmart, Target, Best Buy and others such as Dick's Sporting Goods, the retailer has chosen to allow a much-needed respite for employees from the new normal of life during a worldwide pandemic.
Black Friday sales will no doubt be impacted by the move since many of these retailers begin sales on Thanksgiving Day. Or maybe these sort of closures are what we need to observe and give thanks in America.
