This weekend, we said goodbye to a television legend. Chuck Woolery, the iconic game show host best known for being the OG host "Wheel of Fortune" waaaay back in the day and "Love Connection," passed away at his home in Horseshoe Bay, Texas on Saturday. He was 83 years old.

TMZ reports that Chuck wasn’t feeling well and decided to lie down before he passed away. While the exact cause of death hasn’t been confirmed, his family and fans are mourning the loss of one of TV’s most beloved personalities.

Chuck’s career spanned decades, beginning in the 1970s when he became the original host of "Wheel of Fortune." After a few years spinning the wheel, he moved on to host "Love Connection" from 1983 to 1994, turning it into a cultural phenomenon with his signature sign-off: "We’ll be back in two and two." He also brought his talents to shows like "Scrabble", Fox’s "Greed", and "Lingo" on the Game Show Network.

But did you know Chuck’s talents extended far beyond game shows? Before his TV fame, he was a musician. He performed with The Bordermen, a folk group, and later formed the psychedelic pop duo The Avant-Garde, which had a hit single, "Naturally Stoned." He also dabbled in country music, writing songs like "Painted Lady" and even co-writing a track for Tammy Wynette.

Chuck had called Horseshoe Bay, Texas, his home for years. Located in the Texas Hill Country, it’s known for its stunning views and laid-back vibe—a perfect Lone Star retreat for a star like Chuck!

From his early days in music to his unforgettable game show moments, Chuck Woolery leaves behind a legacy of entertainment and charm. Rest in peace, Chuck—you’ll be missed in two and two.
